So Eric, Chris and I saw what may be the best guitar player we have ever seen or even ever heard last night. His name is Tee Dee Young and he owns the club "Tee Dee's" over at Second and Elm Tree

Wall update 10/24
So I've decided to rant a bit today. Topic 1: Ed Hardy
All you need to make an ed hardy shirt--- plain t-shirt, sharpie marker, glue, lots of craft gems and glitter Just take the sharpie, draw a skull and/or a rose on the tshirt (you may add some stupid saying like "love and death"), then pour copious amounts of glue all over the shirt. Next either lay down and roll around on a pile of gems and glitter, or get a friend to dump a bucket of the stuff on top of you. Presto! you now look like ed hardy himself cam up and vomited nonsense allover your tshirt! Congratulations, you now look like a 40 Guido that belongs in a strip club or a discotech
do you really want to look like this?
Topic 2: the fixed gear craze
This is a difficult one. To begin, I'm a proud fixed gear rider myself. I've put countless hours and countless dollars into my bike and I absolutely love the thing. I ride it everyday, everywhere I go. What I do not like is being labeled as a "hipster". Granted I run with that sort of crowd every now and then, I hate to be labeled. And I hate that so many kids are now grabbing road bikes left and right just to look cool. god knows they only ride it on the weekends to parties where they show up in pointy leather shoes, tight pants, and fucking vests, carrying 3 pbrs because that's all it takes to get them drunk. A few weeks ago I rode my spare bike to a party that was predominantly inhabited by these "hipsters" . When I rolled in on my Fuji 12speed, I was balked at by the skinny little shit wearing the typical hipster brown vest. "Get those bikes outta here! Who rides with gears?!" REALLY? REALLY? you've got to be kidding me. The only thing that saved his face from being turned inside out was the fact that he offered me a beer...But when did this hobby become complete nonsense? On the same topic, the other thing that burns me up is those road bike that have bullhorns and single brakes....BUT STILL HAVE GEARS. Its like the kids are posing so hard that they aren't even close. WTF!? They might as well go wear an Ed Hardy t-shirt too.
I'd like to see these kids hop on my 46/16 with no brakes and see how "hard" they really are.
I'm disgusted with these people ...and I don't even know who they are.
Skipped class the other day to go listen to some free live music out downtown...and got caught by topsinlex

helped Rives load up this wall piece for an exhibition in New York...here are some shots at the gallery where it was hung.... absolutely gorgeous mill job
in studio i've been working on this wall...and its starting to come along great
here is a shot of the opening before any construction putting the initial bracing up framing in the counter top that will be built into the wall first glass panel goes in after a tedious process of first stripping and cleaning a once double paned window, then cutting and forming a wood frame to be set around progress
so i haven't updated in a while...big reason is that i took a trip to new york for a week and i'm now super backed up in all areas of life
but...
i did meet hip-hop icon Mos Def...He was one chill man
here are some other random photos from the trip
